Wonders of the Forest

Hairless trees bare their rotten teeth as they moan amongst the forest.
Mud puddles shiver to the sound of a wolf's howl.
Swamps swallow toads that travel on lilypads.
The wind whistles as owls think of their faith.
Endangered animals shout out to the forest.
Cursing humans for their loss.
Animals scream while clinging to moanful trees before humans take them away.

Sometimes I wonder. What happened 100 years ago? Did flowers even grow? Did giant spiders rule the earth? Well, we all know that what I said is not true. So what really happened was people walking all day with overalls and brown suits. But seriously, they only had radios but no T.V.  I'm so glad that I live in the 2000's.
If not I would have been bored. They didn't have Lamborghinis (cars) back then. Why? People would have been smarter than that. I mean Einstien would have invented the Sony ps3
if it wasn't for his old age. You know clothes back then were just like caveman rags. Seems like it was a billion years ago. MARIO WEARS OVERALLS NOT PEOPLE! Even though I love living in the 2000's sometimes technology can be such a pain. But if a genie came from nowhere and told you you get one wish, just because you sometimes hate technology, don't say "I wanna live with the caveman forever. DONT! Because trust me, you will want to be coming back. If Thomas Edison was here now he would invent the: Rocket launcher, the time machine and loads more. But too bad for Thomas's age, now we can't. So Someone has to invent something and be the main character for once. The show of wrestling called WWE (World wrestling entertainment). That show debut in like the 1920's, I mean who would ever do wrestling back then? Sure, who ever invented it was AMAZING! But I still would have been born in the 2000's! THE END!

The Eagle Helicoptor Has Landed

As we went outside, we could hear the blades of the helicoptor spinning round and round as it was getting closer.
We couldn't see it but the noise was getting closer.
Finally we could all see the electronic Blue Eagle Helicoptor as it was flying.
My heart was pounding as if a cheetah was racing.
I was terrified that if it was going to land on me, and excited at the same time of course.
As the helicoptor landed, the spinning blades blew the dust away from the field.
Immediately it landed right on the field.
It looked amazing - I wanted to get a better look at it from where I was standing.
I wanted it to go back up into the air but I did not want to hear that noise again.

The Eagle Landed!!!

I started screaming like crazy with everyone else as we saw the blades shimmer just above the horizon. The deafening noise came closer, closer and was getting louder with the wind howling around my ankles. The leaves blew around in the howling, blustery wind, crackling like cornflakes. As they came closer, we saw them doing skilful tricks,  like turning on their side. They circled around us, the wind getting fiercer. They came closer and closer, and with a final crackle, the Eagle Helicopter landed.

The Jungle

The trees afro dance in the strong blowing wind. The roots slither across the grass like a snake twisting around anything it passes. Crickets scream as they call for help. The leaves rattle just like a rattle snake. Lizards are still like a statue. Orange eyes glow in the Moonlight Jungle. Birds fly in the restless trees.

Structures

Our new Inquiry Topic is Structures.

We have learnt that structures are designed by people for a purpose.
The following things are all examples of STRUCTURES:
  • buildings
  • bridges
  • towers
  • chairs
  • desks
  • beds
  • bookshelves
  • cars
  • boats
  • trucks
  • boxing rings
  • heaters
  • fans
  • telephones
How many structures can you find in your room?
Look at some of the structures we saw from the sky tower.
